Mr. Brian Cortes graduated from Texas State University with his BFA in Theatre Education in 2018. He was born and raised in San Antonio, where he was a student in Comal ISD. Prior to joining Memorial High School teaching staff, he served as the Technical Director for Bastrop High School in Bastrop ISD, and participated in independent and community Technical Theatre work at several community theaters in the Austin area.
