Mr. Bradley Hewlett is delighted to begin his second year at Memorial High School and fifteenth in high school theatre education.

He holds an MFA (Theatre Arts – Playwriting) from Texas Tech University as well as a BFA (Theatre Studies) and BA (Philosophy) from the University of Texas at Austin.

His work as a theatre educator and artist are linked by his understanding that the making of theatre can train students to think critically and solve problems in a complex world while the shared experience of live theatre can create cultural connections between diverse individuals.

Mr. Hewlett’s goals as a director are to open as many doors into theatre as possible, to embrace neurodiversity, to explore a wide range of dramatic material, and to find opportunities for students to grow and succeed as young artists.
